The Dear Zachary website has the best information about what individuals can do to influence bail reform in Canada at http://www.dearzachary.com/bailreform. I encourage everyone to write a letter to the Minister of Justice or your Parlimentarian. And please tell your friends about this movie and ask them to see it and write their own letters.
For so long, the Canadian authorities involved in this horror have hidden behind the bureaucracy of the government and justified their actions which let a probable premeditated murderer roam the streets to kill again. I am incredibly pleased that Kurt and the Bagbys have named names in this film. I feel like this film holds a mirror up to their faces and forces them to confront the reality of what their negligence has done to so many people all over the world.
I am pleased that the story of Andrew and Zachary has moved so many people to take action. Your interest in helping out is GREATLY appreciated.

As one of many people who knew and loved Andrew, I am incredibly thankful to Kurt for making "Dear Zachary." It not only serves as a vehicle for political change, it also provides us Bagby cohorts with another outlet for our grief.
